Teaching Fellows Opportunities
MSS offers teaching fellowships that provide new teachers with the professional development, leadership and classroom experience they need before leading a classroom of their own. The Teaching Fellow position allows new teachers to gain a first-hand experience from a successful, senior teacher in a high functioning classroom. In this environment, Teaching Fellows learn proven strategies to assist the educator in the development of their own highly functioning learning environment in the future.

Teachers are the most important in-school factor contributing to student achievement. We believe that great instruction results from innovation and collaboration, and is continuously improved by an ongoing dialogue and feedback exchange between the teacher and instructional leader. Retention Bonus Programs
We understand the importance of recognizing and rewarding core classroom teachers who are dedicated to our students and the mission of Meeting Street Schools. For every five years of continued full-time employment, you will receive $10,000 paid out at the end of the school year.
Administered by Mass Mutual, the plan is designed to help you plan for your retirement, no matter what stage you are in your career. All employees are eligible to participate in the plan starting at their date of hire. Meeting Street Schools will match fifty percent of the first six percent of your eligible compensation. The match is paid to participant’s accounts on an annual basis.
