The Meeting Street Elementary @ Burns’ Turtles returned to their brand new school on Wednesday, August 21. Students were met outside with high fives and smiles from their teachers, the MSS network team, and members of the Dorchester-Waylyn Neighborhood Association before entering the new school for a celebratory countdown to begin the year. Following the countdown, students attended “Turtle training.”

“Turtle training teaches students the expectations for what they are going to go through the first five days of school. At the end of the week, students graduate training and earn their bracelet that celebrates all the hard work they’ve done as they acclimate themselves to our school culture,” said Principal Chad Weiden.
