COHORT THREE APPLICATION: Final Deadline: Tuesday, June 26th
Earlier this month, New Leaders announced that applications are now being accepted for the third cohort of the Aspiring School Leaders Collaborative in South Carolina.
The third cohort will be comprised of 20-30 aspiring leaders from across schools and districts in South Carolina. See key dates and projected program schedule below.
A newly-secured philanthropic grant makes this opportunity free-of-charge to participants.
New Leaders is seeking talented and passionate individuals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of ALL students and their communities through school leadership. The program offers a unique opportunity for personal and professional growth. Participants will have a chance to engage with leading educators and experts, while building a strong network of peers and colleagues. For more than 20 years, New Leaders has equipped education leaders to be powerful and positive forces for change, providing best-in-class leadership training that accelerates learning for every student in every classroom, every year.
The ideal candidate for ASLC-SC is a teacher-leader (i.e., teacher, instructional coach, in some cases new assistant principals) with at least two years of classroom/school experience who is interested in exploring school leadership opportunities in the highest-need schools in the decade ahead. While the program is open to candidates with a variety of experiences, it is expected that participants will engage in job-embedded team leadership and instructional leadership work during the 2023-24 school year.
